O, teh interwebz!

Apparently I moved from my home in the second-to-least obese state in the country, to the actual least-obese state in the country!  Woo, go Colorado!

Sweet jesus, this is the most gut-wrenching article I’ve read in a while.  Two words: testicle fracture.  Check the eMedicine link for (painfully) explicit detail.

Here’s a handy little starting point for learning about the current, cutting-edge research on gravity waves.  Not only is the idea of gravity waves cool, but the resolution with which the experiments have to be carried out sort of blows my mind.  Oh, and there are pretty pictures, too.

Ok, wrong slogan.  But, really, when is any beer not cause for celebration?  I happened across this blog entry on one of my favorite local(ish) beers, New Belgium.  I didn’t realize how cool and environmental the brewery was.  I definitely have to get up there and check it out… anybody else?

Whoever was in charge of the “solar moratorium” must have been taking crazy pills.  Happily, the ban has been lifted, just a month after it was enacted.
